''The Girl who played with Fire' is the sequel 'the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' .
The new follow-up once again sees Lisbeth Salander (Noomi Rapace) and crusading journalist Mikael Blomkvist (Michael Nyqvist) being caught up in a brutal murder investigation. Having served his sentence in prison, Blomkvist returns to Millennium eager to expose a billion dollar sex trafficking ring.
When two of his researchers are murdered, Salander is framed for the murders and emerges as the police's chief suspect.
Blomkvist however is not convinced and attempts to track her down and find out the truth, The secretive hacker Salander goes on the run and soon stumbles upon secrets of her own past.
